Sometimes Salzburg makes everything better

I arrived in Salzburg close to 3 hours after I wanted to, and since it was quite dark and the directions I had to my hostel were quite questionable, I decided to take a cab there. I was pretty grumpy at this point to have to fork over the money for this cab ride, after everything else that had happened that day in trying to leave Munich.
Then the cab driver started asking me about my trip, if this was my first time in Salzburg. I told him yes, and I was very excited because I love the Sound of m
Music. He then informed me that he used to be a Sound of Music tour guide and started giving me all kinds of fun facts, and then broke into song and sang Edelweiss to me. This cab driver made my day. Then I arrived at my hostel, which had air conditioning and double-ply toilet paper and thought I was in heaven.

Even if I didn't love the Sound of Music, Salzburg would have been beautiful, but seeing all the sites from the movie really out it over the top.
Maria wasn't in the Abby to tell how my finger got caught unfortunately.
Salzburg is watermelon heaven.

I really wanted to get a cute Bavarian outfit, but they were super expensive! If only Maria was here to make me some out of curtains.
