Sometimes you arrive in Europe for the first time..

Sometimes you can't find anywhere to buy water or use the restroom in the Dublin airport however there are endless amounts of Toblerones and liquor.

Sometimes you don't know how trains work and workers at newspapers stands pull through to get you from Milan to Florence.

Sometimes your host mom speaks no English and you speak very little Italian but she gives you nutella for breakfast so you quite like her despite the inability to communicate.

Sometimes you break your phone on the way to the first orientation, your only map and clock, and wander the streets of Florence for unknown amounts of time until you buy a map from a newspaper stand and the workers help you figure out where the hell you are on it and where you need to go.

Sometimes you get lost even with your map on the way to a free 4-course Italian meal, delaying your entire group, but make it there in time to only miss wine, which is gross anyways.

Sometimes it's cold and rainy and you write a blog post and try to figure out how to watch American TV in Italy without success.
